This year, to promote the Rugby League World Cup, BBC Creative asked us to refresh our giant characters to include a more diverse cast that represent the mens, women’s and wheelchair competitions. 

It was a brilliant opportunity to take them into a fully animated world creating more dynamic angles and animation in a vibrant and contemporary colour palette.
