Supertato
Blue Zoo is the animation studio behind Supertato, produced for BBC.
Supertato on CBeebies is a 2D animated comedy adventure series for 4-6 year olds, based on the best-selling books by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet.
This potato-extravaganza is the first show out the gate from the exciting collaboration between Plug-in Media and Blue Zoo, Brighton Zoo.
Behind the closed doors of WIZE BUYS SUPERMARKET the Veggies are off their shelves and looking for fun! But one small, green, and very mean pea keeps sneaking out of the freezer to create chaos in the aisles.
EVIL PEA is determined to rule the world – her world being the supermarket, where she longs to reign supreme. And she might just get away with it if it wasn’t for wholesome hero SUPERTATO!
He’s always there to save the day and thwart Evil Pea’s mischievous schemes with courage, teamwork, and ingenious repurposing of everything the well-stocked supermarket shelves have to offer.
