We will be there: 22 - 24 February 2023

Move Summit is Scotland’s animation gathering! Studio co-founder, Tom Box, and BZ Shorts film director, Alex Davy, will be giving a careers talk on Emerging Talent day. On Industry Day, Tom and Alex are speaking about 10 Years of BZ Shorts, with Alex's experience of directing Armour. They will be available to give portfolio reviews.

Tom Box will be giving a talk on 10 Years of Blue Zoo Shorts and will be answering questions from festival attendees.
We will be there: 21 - 23 February 2023
Location: Escape Studios, London
VFX Festival is the festival known for bringing the creative community together and allows fresh and emerging talent to explore the best in the industry and provides professionals an opportunity to expand their knowledge. We will be in attendance on February 21st, speaking on the 'Routes into Screen Industry' Panel and our Talent team will be in the Marketplace on the 23rd February.

Location: Stuttgart, Germany
FMX is the one of the biggest Animation & VFX festivals in Europe, skewing slightly more technical than the artistic side, our Talent team will attend the recruitment marketplace for the first 2 days of the festival and are also giving an online talk on April 28th. Tom Box and Mark Spokes will be giving a talk on 10 Years Of Blue Zoo Shorts, with Mark sharing his experience of making youth suicide prevention charity short film, Sinking Feeling.

Location: Annecy, France
Annecy Festival is renowned for annually being the world’s largest event dedicated to animation and so we are chuffed to be there again this year. Our Talent Team and Surfacing Generalist, Cassandra Haulot, and Look Development Artist, George Quelch, will be in attendance from the 13th-17th of June at the Blue Zoo Stall during the festival discussing all things Blue Zoo. You can say hello to them in booth A18.
On 13th June, you can find Blue Zoo Co-founder, Tom Box, at Imperial Palace Salle de l’Europe discussing real-time and generative AI issues in the animation film industry at 2pm.
