Thrilled and honoured to have won TWO awards at the bi-annual British Animation Awards last night!

The Adventures of Paddington won Best Children’s Pre-School Series and A Whale’s Tale won Best Original Short Form Content. As a brand new series, it was very exciting for Paddington to receive this prominent award in the animation industry! Congratulations to all the crew,  StudioCanal and Heyday TV.

A Whale’s Tale, a special collaboration between Cartoon Network and Hope Works, is an environmentally conscious short film which was an honour to be involved with. Massive congratulations to the Short-form and Paddington team.

Adam Shaw, Co-Director of The Adventures of Paddington, said: “It’s amazing to get recognition through these prestigious awards for the team’s creativity and hard work. I thought that the level and quality of the animation this year was the highest it's ever been. It is a testament to the growing strength of the industry in the UK which makes winning these awards all the more remarkable.”

We were hugely saddened not to attend the BAAs ceremony this year due to COVID-19 concerns. Helen and the team did a spectacular job putting these awards together and we’re grateful to have been considered.

Thanks again to BZ team and friends and family! Thank you to BAAs for another brilliant year. Catch up with what happened at the BAAs on their website. You can watch The Adventures of Paddington now on Nick Jr at 4.30pm everyday or on the Sky app. You can give A Whale’s Tale a watch on YouTube.
