ITV commission blue-zoo to create an advert for ITVLocal.com, where a journey past various animated road signs would represent different areas of the website. Blue-Zoo’s Tom Box commissioned illustrations from new design team Pocket Studio to create the friendly world, based on minimal signage styles. The characters were then animated in full 3D using Maya, then composited in After Effects using a flat sponge print style. The project was directed by Peter Humphries.
