February Update

It's been a busy start to the new year, we've just finished production on the Cbeebies series 'Alphablocks', and in mid-production on the second series of 'Get Squiggling'. We're also currently gearing up to start more series work in the next few months, which mean's we're recruiting! So to make things easier we've set-up a web page for applicants and specific jobs (although we're always recruiting for 2D/3D artists), in particular we're currently looking for a Technical Director and Administration positions - check out http://jobs.blue-zoo.co.uk.
Formula Fun

We have recently completed a project for the team at Formula Fun. Its an exciting trailer for a brand new kids series called Franco and Formula Fun. Animation Director Adam Shaw combined detailed matte paintings and new rendering techniques to bring this action packed trailer to life in a way that will take the pre-school animation world by storm. This month we've been drumming up support for the English animation industry, talking to the press, the producers, the broadcasters, MP's, and anyone else who will listen about the problems facing the industry and the possible solutions for it!
Oli's been pretty busy with it - he appeared on BBC News, he talked at Showcomotion, presenting some of the startling statistics he's been researching, as well as talking to various magazines and newspapers such as The Times to raise awareness.
He's now working with various companies and professionals to find the best ways forward, watch this space!
